 A Midsummer Night's Dream

Emma has just movement directed a new production of the show with Leaning House Productions. Part professional, part amateur cast, this production was presented in the quad at Oxford University Press' building. The movement element involved exploring how movement reads differently outside than inside, how untrained bodies move (delightfully, especially in the context of the mechanicals!), and choreographing large dances for strange spaces.

"The final dance, like all the movement, choreographed by Emma Webb, sends the audience off uplifted after this cornucopia of theatrical delights: as one should be after a lovely 'Dream'!"
